SMART
Board Lesson
Due:
Thursday April 4, 2013
The
purpose of the SMART Board lesson is to demonstrate that you are
able to use the tools in the context of a lesson. Your written lesson plan
should include, but is not limited to the following topics.
Lesson Components:
1. Grade Level: what is the grade level for the lesson. (ex. grade 3)
2. Subject: what is the subject of the lesson. (ex. math, science, art, etc.)
a. Content: (ex. fractions, verbs, Krebs Cycle, etc.)
3. Objectives: what are the students going to learn. (ex. The students will be able to identify words that have soft c sounds.)
4. Materials: what things do you need in order to teach lesson. (ex. SMART Board, markers)
5. Activity: what interactive thing will the students be doing on the SMART Board (ex. fraction game)
6. Evaluation/Assessment; how will you know the students have learned the concepts. (ex. quiz, worksheet)
You will also model your lesson or the class.
